Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kolkata

Arrival Kolkata airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight: hotel in Kolkata.

Day 2: In Kolkata

After breakfast visit St. Paul’s Cathedral which was consecrated in 1847. It is a tall white Gothic building with a stained glass window by Burne Jones. After that visit Missionary Centre of Mother Teresa, Goddess Kali Temple (Dakshineshwar Kali Temple), built in 1847, on the banks of the Hooghly, north of Kolkata. After lunch visit Victoria Memorial which is a massive domed building of white marble from Rajasthan. It was inaugurated in 1921 by the prince of Wales. Then visit Indian Museum, established on 2nd Feb 1814. The museum is particularly famous for its zoological and geological collections. Also visit Botanical Garden, the oldest in the country. The main attraction is the 250 year old banyan tree with nearly 2,000 aerial roots, making it the largest tree of its kind in the world.

Day 3: Kolkata – Port Blair Fly

After breakfast transfer to Airport for Port Blair bound flight. Arrive, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, lies on the east coast of South Andaman Island, is a beautiful place known for its natural surroundings. In the afternoon, a tour of Port Blair which includes a visit to theCellular Jail, a mute witness to the tortures meted out to the freedom fighters, Chatham Saw Mill, Gandhi Park, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum and Samudrika (Naval Marine Museum).

Day 4: Port Blair – Havelock Island By Ferry (21 Nautical Miles)

After breakfast transfer to Jetty and embark ferry to Havelock Island. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Evening free at leisure for personal activities at beach.

Day 5: At Havelock Island

Full day for personal activates like snorkeling and scuba diving.
Overnight: hotel in Havelock.

Day 6: At Havelock Island

Full day for personal activates like snorkeling and scuba diving.
Overnight: hotel in Havelock.

Day 7: Havelock Island-Port Blair By Ferry (21 Nautical Miles)

Morning at leisure. In afternoon, transfer to jetty and embark ferry to Port Blair. On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: hotel in Port Blair.

Day 8: Port Blair – Chennai Fly

After breakfast transfer to airport for Chennai bound flight. On arrival transfer to hotel. In afternoon, half day city tour of Chennai. Visit St. George Fort built in 1653 currently used as the state government’s secretariat, Santhome Cathedral built around 14th/15th century and the Kapaleshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Fort Museum, National Art Gallery and Marina beach.
